In a correspondence dated 7th October, 2024, the Director-General of the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) was invited by the Junior Doctors Association of Sierra Leone (JUDASIL) to acquaint newly recruited House Officers with the provisions in the Civil Service Code, Regulations and Rules. The occasion marks a two-days orientation and training meant to better prepare this crop of health technical workers for the new work environment and work culture germane to their profession. The Director-General, due to other pressing official engagements was ably represented by the Director of Performance Management (Chernor I. Mansaray), who, in an interactive session, systematically took participants through the provisions of the Code, with special emphasis on the status of the ongoing review of the document and the anticipated changes.
