In the early part of 2023, a consultant was hired by the European Union through HRMO, to carry out a baseline and institutional assessment of the Monitoring and Evaluation systems of key Civil/Public Service reform institutions, that is, PSC, HRMO, CSTC, PSRU, MOPED and NaMED. The intent in to improve the M&E landscape of these entities for enhanced programme effectiveness. The consultant, with support from the Long-Term Non-Key Expert and a dedicated team of senior personnel of HRMO successfully undertook the M&E assessment and also developed a training plan and curriculum, being validated at regional level, which commenced 12th August 2024, with the North-west region.
